I love this ebike I bought it back in January beginning of the year. I've put over 2500 miles on it. Had to replace the back tire once after it got worn out. But it is a great bike. I ride everyday. I would love to get into reviewing e-bikes for ebike companies.

Bikes look good and well built just but together and ready to ride.

Very nice bike. I've had it a few months and haven't had any issues. It charges well and rides well on trails through the woods. I use it for hunting and have enjoyed having it.

I’ve been using this bike for a while now and overall I’m really happy with it. The motor is very powerful — it easily handles hills and reaches good speed without much effort. The battery life is also impressive, especially if you use pedal assist, it can last a long time.

One of my favorite things is how comfortable it is. The full suspension and fat tires make the ride smooth even on rough roads or sand, and the step-thru design makes it super easy to get on and off.

The hydraulic brakes are a big plus — they feel safe and responsive.

On the downside, the bike is quite heavy, so it’s not easy to carry or move around when it’s off. Also, while the quality is good for the price, it doesn’t feel like a high-end brand. Charging time is a bit long as well.

Overall, I think it’s a great value for the price. If you’re looking for a powerful and comfortable e-bike for daily use or longer rides, this is a solid option.

You can pedal the U8 Ultra without assistance, but I would not want to do that for miles. On flat ground it is manageable for a short distance; hills are another story. Manual mode is backup, not my preference.

At around 81.5 pounds on the spec sheet, this is not something I casually toss into a vehicle.

A ramp is a lot nicer than trying to muscle it into a truck bed.

Worth it for my use, not ideal for stairs.

The frame does not feel flexy when I pedal hard or hit rough pavement. This one gave me the margin I wanted.

For weekday transportation, the combination of speed and comfort hits a useful middle ground. I arrive less sweaty than I did on my regular bike, which matters when I am heading straight into work. So far, it fits my routine really well.

I am not sending it down technical mountain-bike trails, but easy dirt routes are absolutely part of my rides now. The step-through frame is convenient when I stop to take photos or check a route.

I usually charge based on my schedule instead of because the bike is nearly empty. That extra headroom is worth it to me.

I should have paid more attention to the listed rider-height range before ordering. I would rather have a slightly smaller model for frequent stop-and-go riding. Measure first.

I mostly ride pavement, but having off-road capability has changed where I am willing to explore. Packed dirt and small gravel are the sweet spot for me. I keep finding new connectors to try.

Speed comes on smoothly enough that I can choose my pace instead of fighting the bike. It has enough reserve to make merging across a quiet side street less awkward. No complaints on the top end.

The bigger battery is great on the road and less great when you remember to charge at the last minute.

As long as I plan one evening ahead, the bike is ready when I need it.

The routine is easy once you get used to it.

The tire footprint gives the U8 Ultra a very planted personality. I am glad I did not go with a narrower model.

Charging a phone from the bike is not glamorous, just useful.

The feature is simple and does exactly what I need.

That feature earned its keep.

The Ultra immediately felt like a step up from the smaller e-bike I had been using. The bike felt stable enough that I stopped thinking about the size pretty quickly. It made a very good case for itself.

My first impression was basically: this is a lot of bike, but it is easier to ride than it looks. It gave me confidence to plan a longer route the next day.

There is a big difference between 20 mph and a comfortable upper-20s cruise on the roads I use. The throttle is handy at low speed, while pedal assist is what I use most once I am rolling. I would rather have stable speed than a bigger headline number.

At my size, lightweight-looking e-bikes do not inspire much confidence. The bike feels properly substantial.

At red lights and quick stops, the frame shape just makes life easier. Definitely worth considering if mobility is a concern.

I wanted to know whether manual mode could be a comfortable backup.

I now leave a little battery reserve instead of trying to squeeze out every last mile.

This is one reason I value the larger battery.

A little snow on a familiar path is much less intimidating now. I keep speed conservative and use smooth power so I do not break traction.

For casual trail riding, the combination of motor support and fat tires works nicely. I keep my expectations realistic and avoid deep mud or technical drops. It has made my weekend rides more interesting.

I have stopped staring at the battery meter every few minutes.

For my routine, one full charge covers multiple outings. I have not needed to baby it to make my trips work.

I live up one flight of stairs, and that is easily the least fun part of owning the Ultra. I would buy it again, but I would plan storage better.

I have a little less flexibility than I used to, so the lower entry point was important.

That convenience matters more than I expected on short errands with lots of stops.

I would not go back to a tall top tube for this kind of bike.

A lot of e-bikes start to look interchangeable; this one has a more substantial full-size look. It looks expensive without being covered in unnecessary decoration. I would pick the same color again.

I compared a bunch of full-size fat-tire e-bikes before buying, and this one made sense on overall value. The 330-pound load rating also gave me more confidence in the overall platform.
